The Epic Journey of Express Lines

  In 2005, fueled by a profound insight gained from five years as both a company driver and an owner-operator, Alex Goroshko founded Express Lines. Our journey began with the humble yet vital task of transporting produce from Salinas, CA, to New York's Hunts Point Market. This operation was more than just hauling goods; it was an education in becoming a dependable and safe carrier, navigating through the many complications that shape the trucking industry.

We forged valuable partnerships with industry giants like CH Robinson, Landstar and TQL. Embracing the dynamic nature of the trucking industry, we made a strategic move in 2008 to the Midwest, transitioning to dry van freight. 

In 2009, with a vision to diversify our services, we ventured into the realm of freight brokerage. However, we soon recognized the challenges this expansion posed for our dedicated yet compact team. In response, we made a strategic decision to concentrate and further develop our trucking operations, acknowledging it as the cornerstone of our business. This move, made with both professionalism and humility, allowed us to realign our focus on our primary expertise, ensuring continued excellence and growth in what we do best.

Our progress in the Midwest was characterized by a commitment to excellence. Specializing in Truckload, Less-Than-Truckload, expedited, and power-only freight, we always prioritized quality over quantity. This ethics guided our choice of drivers, selected for their skill and understanding of the responsibility that comes with navigating heavy trucks on public roads, always in strict compliance with FMCSA regulations.

During the challenging times of the pandemic, we partnered with brokers to provide essential service for Kroger to ensure the timely distribution of their shipments to local stores. Our drivers, experienced in power-only shipments, skillfully managed logistics for clients like Honda. We also worked closely with Knight Logistics, among other valued customers.

 With over 18 years of rich trucking experience and a commitment to leveraging the latest technology, we are now poised to collaborate with small, experienced owner-operators who share our commitment to FMCSA standards and excellence in service.
